Companies interested in taking advantage of ZUS holidays this year have only a few days left to submit their application. The deadline is November 30.

– These are the last days to take advantage of the December contribution holidays. The deadline is the end of November – reminds the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS).

A year has passed since the introduction of contribution holidays,also known as ZUS holidays. From November 1,2024,micro-entrepreneurs entered in the register of the Central Registration and Information on Economic Activity and court bailiffs may submit applications for exemption from paying their own social security contributions in one month of their choice in each calendar year.

An entrepreneur or his representative may submit an application for a contribution holiday (RWS) only electronically to PUE/eZUS – only from the payer’s account one month before the month for which he or she wants to be released. Therefore,entrepreneurs interested in taking advantage of the relief this year have until the end of November to submit their application. The documents submitted in December will apply to January 2026.

– We consider applications for contribution holidays automatically. All information on this matter can be found on the payer’s account on PUE/eZUS. Additionally,we will send information that there is new information on this subject to the e-mail address or telephone number provided by the entrepreneur in his PUE/eZUS account. If the entrepreneur is partially exempt from the relief or does not receive it,we will issue a decision on this matter and transfer it to the payer’s account at PUE/eZUS – informs ZUS.

The institution reports that so far entrepreneurs have sent nearly 176,000. applications for exemption from contributions for December. Since November 2024,i.e. since the contribution holidays (also known as ZUS holidays) came into force,2.6 million applications have been received.

ZUS reported earlier that most payers (almost 1.3 million) took advantage of the exemption for December 2024,i.e. at the very beginning of the relief.
